Allarts Gallery’s 9th Anniversary Commemorative Exhibition.

Waldomiro Sant’Anna was born in São Paulo, Brazil and attended the Faculty of Fine Arts in that city.

He is a figurative painter who works his canvases with great intensity in color and movement. His works are closely linked to nocturnal and musical environments, due to his life experience and the joy of playing the saxophone.

In 1971, only with 19th years old, he made his first solo exhibition in Santa Rita. Since then, among collective shows, solo shows and art galleries, there were more than one hundred performances.

Waldomiro Sant´Anna artworks deserve the recognition of critics and collectors for which he received many distinctions. It is represented in important private and institutional collections. In 2004 he was the artist chosen for the BASF calendar. His biography and works are also published in several publications, namely in the Brazilian Art Book by Júlio Louzada, in “Ten most outstanding Brazilian Figurative Artists” by Paulo Klein’s Editora Decor and in Paribas-Enok-Sacramento’s “Brazilian Artists” book.
