Judy Joel
Judy Joel was born in 1946 in London, and has had no training as an artist, but her naturally naïf style is full of charm and colour. All her subjects are joyful and make people smile.
When Judy left school she worked as a Production Assistant on television programmes for the BBC where she met her husband Paul – a Production Designer. She left in 1971 to bring up her family, and that was when she began to paint. Both her children are also artists in their own right.
Judy has exhibited in many places and has had many successful solo expositions. These have been in London, Surrey, Cornwall, Sussex and most recently in the Cotswolds.
Her paintings are in collections worldwide and she was delighted to have been invited to exhibit in Lisbon at “Allarts Gallery”. This is one of only four galleries where you can find Judy’s work.
