Alcindo Barbosa

Alcindo Barbosa was born in Melgaço at 1941 and since 1956 resides in Lisbon.
Is attracted by the arts from an early age and in his adolescence started a self-taught training in drawing, oil painting and watercolor.

After retirement, he attended at the National Society of Fine Arts in Lisbon, classes in drawing and painting, having completed courses in drawing and color.
Participated in collective exhibitions in Lisbon, Almada , Seixal and Alcochete (Portugal).

Since 2011 he has participated in the Naïve Art Painting exhibitions of Casino Estoril gallery where he also joined the exhibition " Artis 13 " and "Mare Nostrum”. Also exposed in Serra D’ Arga, Portugal in the collective " Art da Leira 2014," organized by the artist Mario Rocha.
