Alain Carron
Alain Carron was bron in Douphiné, France in 1946.
He studied at the Beaux Arts de Grenoble Institute, and worked as a graphic illustrator, area in which his value was recognized.
Nowadays he dedicates himself exclusively to painting and his art reveals the great experience he acquired in the illustration technique. He also teaches drawing at the Grenoble School of Applied Arts.
His inspiration derives from the focused and critical observation of the facts and experiences that surround him, which he interprets and transmits in his paintings through burlesque characters and situations, in a harmonious mix of humor and poetry.
Since 1982 he has been participating in various individual and collective exhibitions, not only in France but also in many other European countries. He even illustrated stamp collections for the French Postal Services.
Alain Carron has received many awards and honorable mentions, from which we enhance the gold and silver medals won at the Nancy, Vittel and Nyons art shows. In 2010 he was awarded with the “Lucia d’Oro“ (1er prix) at Varenna International Art Naïf Exhibion – Italy (lac de Côme).
