Eduardo Ungar
Eduardo Ungar was born in 1946 and lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he develops his professional activity as a painter. He started his artistic work through ceramics. He is specialized in Decorative Painting on Tile, creating several artworks in the 70s in the Mireya Baglietto Atelier. Later he studied and worked at Diana Chalukian and Jorge Sarrible Atelier where he initiated oil painting.
He was a Painting and Drawing teacher in Consudec.
He participated in several individual and collective exhibitions in different cities, such as Buenos Aires, Caracas, Paris, Chicago, Miami, New York and Madrid. His works are included in the permanent collections of specialized galleries in Paris, New York, Tel Aviv.
He got several Mentions of Honour and distinctions throughout his career:
2003 1st Prize “Hoy en el Arte Gallery”, Buenos Aires, Argentina; 1987 Prize/Mención del Jurado at the Exposición y Concurso sobre el Antigo Testamento – “Gina Gallery” in Tel Aviv, Israel. He was also awarded the 1st Prize International Naïf Painting – “Pro Arte Kasper Gallery” in Morges, Switzerland.
