Ana Maria Dias
Ana Maria Dias is a prominent Brazilian Naïf Art painter, widely recognized for her vibrant works depicting rural life and childhood memories. Born in São Paulo in 1945, she spent much of her youth in the historic colonial town of Porto Feliz, in the interior of the state. This experience in the countryside became the backbone of all her artistic expression.
Ana Maria Dias began her professional artistic career in 1975. She held her first major solo exhibition in 1980 at the Museu da Casa Brasileira in São Paulo.
From 1982 onwards, her work gained global recognition. Currently, her creations are part of collections and galleries of international renown.
