CASCAIS GALLERY "Ultra Violent" - Teresa Viotti Painting Exhibition

Teresa Viotti was born in Lisbon in 1966 and lives currently in Cascais where she has her studio. She made Antonio Arroyo School and a degree in Graphic Design at IADE.

She founded a design firm – QUALIDEIA

Teresa Viotti joined the design team at EXPO 98 where she was responsible for GIL mascot and its graphical development that continues today with GIL FOUNDATION.

As it is interested by the fashion world, she created the brand BAGme with hand bags customized with her paintings.

In 2012 she was invited by TOPAZIO Silver Stories to develop jewelry design lines. But her great passion has been painting that follows her ever since. The portrait and the human figure is the common point in her work.

In 2014 she was in Florence to make a classical painting course joined with new techniques.

This exhibition is a set of volumetric frames which combines photography with various plastic techniques.

“It is a language full of contrasts. The bond that unites these works is the water, the sea, the beach. They are apparently calm scenarios but with emotional turmoil . It is a diary with pictures. The color and black and white . Happiness and sadness they hate themselves but always go together”.

ULTRA VIOLENT is a game of emotions .
