Kiki Lima - Painting Exhibition "Color with Atitude"

Kiki Lima was born on April 15th, 1953, in Ponta do Sol, Santo Antão, Cape Verde.

1974/75 – Drawing and Painting Course of C.E.C. – Lisbon.
1984/85 – Sculpture Course of AR.CO – Center of Art and Visual Communication, Lisbon.
1985/90 – Degree in Communication Design at the Lisbon University of Fine arts.

He has been painting for 42 years (1969/2011) during which he accomplished 85 individual exhibits and participated in more than 160 collective ones around the world. His artworks are present in the most important private and public contemporary art collections.

Kiki Lima is recognized by many art critics and specialists as the best Cape Verdean painter ever, and one of the most important contemporary African artists.
