Albino Moura

Albino Moura was born in Lisbon and received artistic guidance of Fred Kradolfer. Since 1959 he has held several solo exhibitions and participating in various collective of Modern and Contemporary Art.

Was commissioner of many exhibitions, most notably “13 painters in Evora” / CME and “Painters and Fernando Pessoa” in Martinho da Arcada in Lisbon. He was member of the Jury for the selection of the Seixal commemorative medal, author of the postal International Women’s Day / CMA and organized, with the painter Cidália Rodrigues, the exhibition “25 Works, 25 Painters”.

He received several awards for painting and drawing, namely: Painting Prize Manuel Filipe, Cascais, the 1st Prize at the Salon of Plastic Arts, Sintra, the Silver Medal of the Costa do Sol, Estoril, the 1st Prize for Painting, Abrantes City Hall, Prize Salon of Costa do Sol, the Medal of Merit of Seixal Council and the Insignia and Gold Medal of Cultural Merit of Almada Council for his 50-year career.

Albino Moura is represented in numerous collections in Portugal and abroad.
